Puzzle elements

Overview

To reach this puzzle, as you're going from Puzzle 4 to Puzzle 5, take the left turn in front of the lake and follow the path.

When you enter the puzzle you find a drillable wall to the right, an inverter in front of you, and a blue emitter. Further inside is a jammer in front of a window, which looks in to the first room. In that room is a driller and a ladder that leads back outside, and a blue door to the second room. Further inside still is a purple barrier that separates out an area with a blue receiver, and separately a blue door that leads into the second room. In the second room is a red receiver that, along with a blue receiver outside, controls a grill door to the progress wheel. On the other side is a connector.

Hints

A basic hint:

[ hint ]
Since the name of the puzzle is Transposition, you will have to think about how to switch the positions of two of the equipment, which is hard to do because there is a purple barrier

If you're wondering what your first objective should be:

[ hint ]
Try to get access to the second room.

If you're wondering what your second objective should be:

[ hint ]
Try to get access to the driller.

If you're having trouble getting access to the small first room:

[ hint ]
Set up some equipment favorably, then use the jammer for a short period of time to activate it.

If you're wondering what to do with the driller:

[ hint ]
It is mostly used to move stuff. It is not used for transmitting lasers.

If you're stuck near the end and are wondering where to keep the equipment:

[ hint ]
You should have the inverter inside in the second room, the connector and the jammer in the outside room, and the driller wouldn't be relevant any more. Both the connector and the inverter should be pulling double duty.
