Loop
Identifier: East 2-Δ2
Area: Wooded Plateau
Puzzle Type: Lost
Previous Puzzle: Keeping Connection
Next Puzzle: Lonely Heights

Loop is a lost puzzle in the Wooded Plateau area of The Talos Principle 2.

Puzzle elements

Overview

To find this puzzle, as you go from the Seventh Puzzle to the Eighth Puzzle, instead of crossing the bridge straight to reach 8, take the road to the right and follow it.

When you enter loop, you find a driller and a connector. The connector is already connected to a red energy source. There is a blocked off area to the right with a pressure plate and a fan, and several copper walls. You are able to explore further into the puzzle where you find a cube and two pressure plates. The progress wheel is blocked off from the player with a plasma field, which is turned off only when both pressure plates are pressed.

Hints

A basic hint:

[ hint ]
Since the name of the puzzle is Loop, some object will likely complete an entire orbit of the map.

If you're having trouble getting started:

[ hint ]
Consider if you really need the connector connected to the energy source at the very beginning of the puzzle, or if it can be put to other use.

If you don't understand what the fan is for:

[ hint ]
There is a window on the wall from where you can aim the driller at the corridor. How can you use that?

If you've figured out the fan but are missing the last piece:

[ hint ]
At the very beginning of the puzzle, you make a hole with the driller. Don't use it just once!
