Overview

As you enter the puzzle, you find a red emitter, a red receiver, a connector, and a green receiver. The red receiver controls access to another area to the left. The green receiver controls access to the progress wheel.

In the area you enter on the left, you find a twisting passageway, with a blue receiver immediately on the wall on the left. The first room in that passageway is blocked off by a blue door deactivated by a pressure plate. There is an inverter available. At the end of the passageway is another small room with an RGB converter inside that is blocked off by a blue door deactivated by a red receiver.

Hints

A basic hint:

Since the name of the puzzle is There and Back Again, you will have to think about going entirely to some area, and then returning.

If you're struggling to get started:

Your first job is to take all your equipment -- all of it -- and move it to the internal area

If you're struggling to keep the doors open:

[ hint ]
A receiver can remain activated with multiple lasers. This is useful if you need to remove some equipment that was previously powering it. Also double check if you really need to keep the door open.

Solution

Trivia
