Through the Wall is the third main puzzle in the Southern Coast area of The Talos Principle 2.

Overview

When you enter the puzzle, you find yourself in a long hallway, with a set of four rooms on the left. The first three rooms have grill walls facing the hallway, and the fourth room is open. A section of the wall between each set of rooms is drillable. The first room has the progress wheel, the second has a teleporter, and a ladder that leads back outside.. The third room has a driller that is already activated on the last wall, and there is a second teleporter in the fourth room.

Since the name of the puzzle is Through the Wall, you will have to figure out how to move various equipment through the various walls.

Your objective is to move the driller from the third room to the second room.

When teleporting out, sometimes, though not always, it might be wise to leave one teleporter behind.

Solution

• 
  Step 1: Go the last room of the puzzle, place the teleporter through the hole and teleport into the third room.
• 
  Step 2: In the third room, drill the wall into the second room. Use the teleporter to move across the hole. Reposition the teleporter close to the hole, and move both teleporters across the hole so they're in the third room.
• 
  Step 3: Teleport back into the third room, drill a hole outside, place a teleporter, and teleport out. Leave one of the teleporters inside.
• 
  Step 4: Reposition the outer teleporter to a central location, so it is visible from both the second and third rooms. Teleport back into the third room.
• 
  Step 5: Drill the wall into the second room, relocate the teleporter there, but don't move there yourself. Grab the driller and teleport out into the open.

  Step 6: Teleport into the second room with the driller.
• 
  Step 7: Drill the wall into the first room, then place the teleporter through the hole. Teleport there and activate the progress wheel.

Trivia and Glitches

• Even though the previous puzzle is visible across the sea from various rooms of this puzzle, the game does not allow you to use the teleporters once you've gone outside of the puzzle, so it isn't possible to instantly move there.
• There are some angles in the far corner of the third room, from where it is possible to drill the wall in the second room, and to use the teleporter in that room. This can lead to a quick solution of the puzzle.
