Puzzle Elements

Overview

When you enter the puzzle, you find two distinct areas blocked off by a high grate, the near side and the far side. On the near side, there is a cube, and a fan that is pointed vertically upwards. To the right is an area blocked off by a plasma wall which contains a connector. To its left is an area with a low grate that has a blue laser emitter. On the far side is another fan, a connector, and a red laser emitter blocked off with a plasma wall, another pressure plate, and a clone blocked off with a plasma wall.

Solution

A basic hint::

[ hint ]
Since the name of the puzzle is Interplay, your first objective should be to get access to the clone so that you can use both to get through the puzzle.

If you're having trouble getting started::

[ hint ]
Note that you don't even have to use the cube to get to the other side, you can just use the ladder. See what can be done with just the ladder.

If you can't figure out how to get enough elevation::

[ hint ]
So you've figured out that you need the connector high enough to get it to unlock the plasma wall on the near side. But how do you raise it? Holding it doesn't work, so you will clearly need to get the cube to the far side. Does having both clones on the near side help with getting the cube to the far side?
