Universal Activation is the first main puzzle in the Anthropic Hills area of The Talos Principle 2.
Puzzle elements
Overview
When you enter this puzzle, you find yourself in a front room of a three-room puzzle.
- In the front room, there is a blue activator, and a blue emitter, with a small grate wall blocking it on the left.
- The second room, which is to the right, is blocked off by a blue door, there is a red activator.
- The third room, which is to the left, is blocked off by another blue door. There is a red emitter, and a pressure plate that gives access to the progress wheel

A basic hint:

This puzzle introduces you to activators and their rules. When an activator is connected to a laser of the same color, it generates a large bubble around it. Any barriers in that bubble are deactivated, and any other activators within that bubble are activated so they create bubbles of their own.
