The museum building from the outside.

The Museum of the Simulation is a large building found in the center of New Jerusalem. It is a museum dedicated to the events that took place in the Simulation, covered during the first game of the series. It serves as both fan-service for returning players, as well as an actual in-universe museum since the citizens of New Jerusalem effectively "descend" from the Simulation.

The museum features several areas containing elements of the first game presented as relics of the past, including decors, puzzles elements, terminals, as well as three recreations of puzzles found in the first game.

The first area of the museum.

Arrangers

One of the rooms in the museum features six tetromino arrangers, a type of puzzle that was prominent in The Talos Principle. The six arrangers can be solved, even though it does not grant any achievement or reward.

Terminals

The Research area of the Museum.

The museum contains a room with three terminals that feature text adventures in the style of those found in The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna.

QR codes

The museum contains a large areas containing depictions of QR codes, a common way for characters to communicate in The Talos Principle. The QR codes depicts some messages from the first game.

Puzzles

There are three puzzle recreations in the museum, one for each of the Lands from The Talos Principle. At the end of each a puzzle, the replica of a sigil can be activated to play a filtered version of the sound effect played in the first game.

Land of Ruins

The puzzle room is composed of a series of doors that need to be opened to access the sigil. The first one has a blue receiver, the second one by a red Receiver and the third one by a pressure plate. There is a blue emitter on the side and another door opened by a red Receiver. Two connectors are available form the get go, with a third one being placed behind the first door.

Land of Death
