Puzzle Elements

Overview

Two Guards and a Blue door seem to block the path between the player and the Sigil. A Jammer is in an alcove behind a doorway that one of the Guards moved back and forth in front of. The other Guard bounces between a wall and a Blue door, which leads to an empty room.

Hints

Hints given are sequenced in order of ascending bluntness (as you proceed from the top down, the hints become more and more obvious).

[ hint ]
There are few things that you can do in this puzzle without a Jammer.
[ hint ]
The Guard in front of the Jammer's alcove is not always blocking the path to it. Time it well, and you can get in without dying.
[ hint ]
The second Guard is bouncing off of that Blue door, not turning around before hitting it.
[ hint ]
You can Jam the Blue door and trap the second Guard inside of the side room if you pick your Jammer back up at the right time.
[ hint ]
You have already proven that you can get past the first Guard without using your Jammer.

Solution

[ solution ]
Wait for the first Guard to be far from the entrance to the Jammer's alcove, and run in. Grab the Jammer and return to the space opposite the alcove, out of the first Guard's range. Jam the Blue door that the second Guard is bouncing off of, and pick up your Jammer while the Guard is inside the side room to trap it there. Then, simply wait for the first Guard to be far enough from where the second Guard was, run past it, jam the second Blue door, and take the Sigil.
