The Question

The Question is a document found in ULTHAR-2, on the Blue terminal.

We are too often asked:

WHO ARE YOU?

And too rarely asked:

WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE?

Are we afraid of the true answer to the latter question?

NOT ENOUGH MONEY

NOT ENOUGH TIME

NOT ENOUGH POWER

NOT ENOUGH WILL

(all the lives that we will never lead

a mirage on the horizon

forever out of reach)

And we accept it! We call it:

WISDOM

ACCEPTANCE

LETTING GO

HUMILITY

And we ask:

WHY?

(because we're too wise/cynical to ask such questions

even though somewhere in a painful place deep inside ourselves that we remember when we wake up late at night in a panic thinking i'm going to die, i'm going to die being just this we know better)

We never ask:

WHY IS THIS GOOD ENOUGH?
