Keys, also called key rings, are elements from The Talos Principle that unlock certain gates. By passing through a large floating set of keys, the player takes possession of the keys until they have been used on one or more associated metal gates.

Passing through a purple barrier will cause the keys to reset back to their original location (unlock most held objects, which fall in place next to the barrier).

Puzzles

The following puzzles use keys:
